Starting point: Gasser Hut
The route starts at the Gasser Hut, easily reached by car. From here, follow the M6 trail, indicated by the “Totenkirchl” signs.
The first stop is the Moar Hut in Plum, where you can already admire an extraordinary panorama of the Dolomites, including the Odle Peaks, Sassopiatto, Sassolungo, Sciliar and Catinaccio. This is the perfect place for a short break and a few photo shoots.
A break at the Pfroder Alm
Continuing along the trail, you will immerse yourself in the green meadows until you reach the Pfroder Alp after about an hour and a half of walking. Here, it is a must to indulge in the delicious local dishes, such as cheese dumplings and kaiserschmarren. The alpine hut offers spectacular views that will make your break even more special.
